Tonight,Lesta devoted SIX MINUTES to the Oprah story.
"In a story, that has people talking from coast to coast,Oprah Winfrey's Golden Glubs speech has spurred frenzied
talk about a run for president in 2020."
Cynthia McFadden's lengthy report included generous clips of Winfrey bellowing about " A new day is ON THE HORIZON."
When they cut back to Lesta(a little early I think),his hands were underneath the table and there was a rhythmic beating sound that he stopped suddenly --after realizing he was back on the air.
Holt then remarked that he was a shoo-in for Vice President. He also revealed that he would continue as Negro Nightly News anchor--even AFTER taking the oath of office as Vice President and promised to remain as objective as he's always been. (LOL).
(The last two paragraphs of the this report were "slightly" fictional).

Report: Bulls plan to trade Nikola Mirotic

Dan Feldman

Nikola Mirotic – who missed the start of the season due to an injury sustained from a practice punch by teammate Bobby Portis – reportedly still wants the Bulls to trade him.

Good news for Mirotic then.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN:

The Bulls are still planning to trade forward Nikola Mirotic
Mirotic has been intrigued with the Utah Jazz, whose coach, Quin Snyder, has a reputation of maximizing offensive talent.
Mirotic can’t be traded until next Monday. He can also veto any trade, giving him say in where he goes.

He’d be an interesting fit in Utah as a stretch four next to Rudy Gobert. The Jazz also have several moderately valuable players who could be used in a trade.

Mirotic has played well since returning, giving him value on his $12.5 million salary with a $12.5 million team option for next season. If Chicago still wants to move him and he still wants to be moved, it’ll likely happen.
GRA:So the Bulls HAVE to trade Mirotic because Bobby Portis must have no takers and Mirotic cannot coexist with Portis--no matter what the rose colored Chicago media was printing a while back.

French actress Deneuve denounces "Me Too".
In the wake of the rampaging sexual harassment scandal in Hollywood, French actress Catherine Deneuve is taking a different tack, saying that men should be “free to hit on” women.

“Rape is a crime, but trying to seduce someone, even persistently or cack-handedly, is not – nor is men being gentlemanly a macho attack,” said Deneuve.

According to The Guardian, Deneuve and 100 other French women who work in arts and media, wrote an open letter in French newspaper, Le Monde, shutting down the “denunciations” following Harvey Weinstein’s plethora of rape and sexual assault allegations. In the letter, the women claim the “witch-hunt” following Weinstein’s allegations is a threat to sexual freedom.

“Men have been punished summarily, forced out of their jobs when all they did was touch someone’s knee or try to steal a kiss,” the letter reads.
GRA:An excerpt from a Fox story. She'll probably be forced to apologize,as another European actress,Charlotte Rampling, had to do last year.Rampling made a similar statement against the crowd concerning racism in Hollywood awards shows. The crowd made Rampling "adjust"
her initial response to avoid further attack--and probably unemployment.
Of course Deneuve is not a sex symbol-- at age 70 plus--and will be ignored by most as "an out of touch old person".Still, when someone sticks their neck out to a certain extent,I thought it was worth a blog.
